Radio script: Turnaround

Sound effects: We hear a man walking along as he talks. His footsteps start reasonably brisk but they gradually slow down and sound heavier and more laboured.

Man: With Life so busy, you don't even notice how much unhealthy stuff you eat or how inactive you've become…

Sound effects: He pauses for breath. We then hear him turn around as he says the next sentence, so the stereo perspective changes, and we hear him go slightly "off mic" mid-sentence.

Man: But, from today, I'm going to turn my life around…

Sound effects: We hear his footsteps pacing along briskly again.

Man: …starting with making time for walking. It's worth it to find 30 minutes every day.

Sound effects: We hear him crunch an apple.

Man: And I go for 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables each day. By eating better, I've started feeling better.

Announcer: It's never too late to start taking steps. What measures will you take? For information and tips, go to MeasureUp.gov.au
