TV script (30 second)

Vision: Our mid-to-late-thirties man, in white boardshorts, walks towards us along a tape measure. He’s heavy around the middle and, with every step forward, he looks heavier and unhealthier.

Audio: Man: With Life so busy, you don’t even notice how much unhealthy stuff you eat or how inactive you’ve become…

Vision: At the 100cm to 102cm mark, he stops and bends over to catch his breath.

Audio: (puff puff)

Vision: He then stands back up, empowered to make a change.

Audio: But, from today, I am going to turn my life around….

Vision: With this life-affirming statement, our camera swings around in perfect timing as he turns around, to walk back down the tape measure.

Vision: Cut to a full frame graphic: It’s never too late to start taking steps

Audio: Female voiceover: It’s never too late to start taking steps.

Vision: As he walks down this descending tape measure, the numbers on the tape measure fade away as he starts losing the weight (down to 96cm-97cm) and looking healthier. He starts power-walking.

Audio: Man: I’m going to start by finding time for walking…

Vision: Graphic: Aim for 30 minutes or more physical activity every day

Audio: Female voiceover: Aim for 30 minutes or more physical activity every day.

Vision: When we come back to him, he crunches an apple.

Audio: …and, by eating better, I’ve actually started feeling better.

Vision: Graphic: 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables a day can improve your health

Audio: Female voiceover: 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables a day can improve your health.

Vision: Graphic: What measures will you take?

Audio: What measures will you take?
